Neuro-Psychologist

Richard works as a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist and is on the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists and Health and Care Professions Council. He now works in independent practice. Previous positions have been with the Berkshire Community Based Neuro Rehab Team and the Royal Hospital for Neurodisability, Putney.

He trained at the University of Surrey and the Institute of Psychiatry. Richard uses a therapeutic approach called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He helps people with brain injury and their families move towards what matters to them, even though the situation they find themselves in is challenging.

Richard works to teach skills to manage the difficult thoughts, feelings, sensations and brain injury consequences and help people take steps to engage in a vital, thriving life after brain injury.
