On Thursday 22 June we were joined at our Centre, in Henley, by three enthusiastic pupils from Shiplake College.
The students spent the day with us as part of a ‘Volunteering Day’ that the college was running. We soon put the boys to work in our garden – it certainly needed some TLC.
Catherine Baron, Office Manager at Headway Thames Valley said;
“They spent most of their day clearing weeds – not the most glamorous of jobs but it has made such a huge difference. Once we showed them what we needed help with, they didn’t need any more encouragement. They were happy to be outside.
“I’d like to say a huge thank you to Shiplake College and to the boys, Sean, Will and Lewis. They are welcome back anytime!”
