On Wednesday 5th August we took some of our clients to Palmer Park to tackle a few laps on their adapted bikes.
As well as two wheeled, three wheeled and four wheeled bikes, there were recumbents, handcycles and wheelchair friendly bikes; so every one of our clients managed to have a go.
Our clients managed to have a good work out and also experienced a big sense of achievement, Jane said;
“It was hard work but great fun. I should get a certificate for completing a whole lap.”
All-ability cycling is run by CTC (The National Cycling Charity) in partnership with Reading Sports and Leisure Services.
