Volunteering

VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES

As a charity, volunteers are very important to our overall effort. Every volunteer is a highly valued member of our team, having the opportunity to take part in training events and to really make a difference within our organisation.

Some volunteering activities are:

IT- helping to learn or re-learn computer skills

Cookery – being able to prepare a simple nutritious meal for yourself  is an often undervalued skill – could you help someone learn to do this?

Fundraising – could you commit time to this? – be it helping at events, drumming up support or coming up with new ideas

Tea and Coffee – we do not have any kitchen staff at Brunner Hall and are reliant on volunteers to come in regularly to make teas and coffees, load the dishwasher and put out packed lunches.

Gardening – we have a sensory garden at Brunner Hall and an allotment in Henley. We always need help with both.

Perhaps you have more specialist skills and could offer your expertise for free?

If you have a few spare hours and are prepared to commit to supporting us regularly or have an interest you would like to share then please contact us or send in an application form. We would love to hear from you.
