Referrals

The majority of our referrals are self-referrals (50%) with clients also being directed to us from the Royal Berkshire & John Radcliffe Hospitals, GPs, social services and the West Berks & East Berks Neuro Rehabilitation Teams. All referrals are reviewed and assessed by an Occupational Therapist. An assessment of need is made and the person is allocated to various forms of intervention: initial advice and counselling, attendance at a course such as the Living With Brain Injury Course, a support group or attendance at Brunner Hall.
